Visitation: family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until time of service on Wednesday

Funeral Service: 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at the funeral home with Chaplain Aimee Wollman officiating

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred

Interment: will be held at a later date

Daniel R. Johnson, age 74, of Chippewa Falls died on Thursday,  October 13, 2011 at Mayo Clinic Health System - Eau Claire.

Daniel was born on September 21, 1937 to the late Conrad "Coony" and Mabel (Rickstad) Johnson in Fond-Du- Lac, Wisconsin. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Dan was owner of Johnson Ladder Shoe Company until his retirement in 2007. He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors.  Dan will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Trudy; children, Constance (Jon) Ledford and their children, Elijah and Noah; Daniel and his children, Brock and Adella; he is further survived by Trudy's children, Lynn Emerson and her daughter, Erica; Lori Walsh (Mark Anderson) and her children, Spencer and Davis; and Lisa (Tim) Barkman and their children Brittany & Jake; nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Dan was preceded in death by his brother, David C. Johnson.

The family would like to thank the Mayo staff of the CCU, 4th floor and pastoral services for their wonderful care and support.

Dan was a loving husband and a wonderful father - "You will be in our hearts forever".
