Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the funeral home

Visitation: 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home

A private interment will be held at a later date

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred

Sandra S. (Sherman) Hayes, age 80, of Eau Claire, died on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at home.

Sandy was born on March 15, 1933 to the late William A. and Esther M. (McMillan) Sherman in Eau Claire. On June 2, 1951, she married Clifford A. Hayes at Lake Street United Methodist Church. Sandy worked for RCU for several years and was active on the Cable TV Advisory Committee, Board of Directors for Group Health and being the first State Director for Good Sam Club. She enjoyed being with her family, traveling and being an avid RV'er.

She is survived by her sons, Gregory (Allyson) Hayes of Atlanta, GA & Matthew (Carmen Baldwin) Hayes of Eau Claire; daughter, Jennifer Jennings (Calvan Frahm, Jr.) of Athens, WI; grandchildren, Alyssa Jennings, Kyle (Amanda) Hayes, Carilyn Hayes (Josiah Armstrong); great grandchildren, Tobias, Peter, Tahlia, and Dajiana; step grandchildren, Calvin Frahm, III; close friends, Joan Schnagl and the Fifi's.

Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford.
