Funeral Service: 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Hope Lutheran Church (on the corner of Starr Avenue and Eddy Lane) with Pastor Jamie Brieske officiating

Visitation: one hour prior to service at church

Interment: Rest Haven Cemetery, Town of Washington, Wisconsin

Kenneth M. Klund, age 94, of Eau Claire died on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Dove Healthcare - West.

Kenny was born on November 25, 1920 to the late Edward and Ethel (Dahlby) Klund in Bloomer, Wisconsin. On June 20, 1945, he married the love of his life, Elaine Anderson, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Bloomer. After working 40 years as a Dental Technician with Chmel Dental Labs, Inc., he retired in 1985. Kenny was very proud of his yard which he lovingly maintained along with his many gardens. He also enjoyed maintaining cars, cheering on the Packers and the many camping trips with family and friends throughout the years. He was a very active member of Hope Lutheran Church serving on many boards, holding many officer positions (including Secretary of Sunday School), and singing in the choir. Kenny was a kind and loving husband, brother, uncle, and friend. His shared sense of humor with Elaine, infectious smile, and gentle manner will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his sister, Ruth (Merv) Marquardt of Chippewa Falls; sister-in-law, Imogene (John) Reppe of Two Harbors, MN; many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends.

Kenny was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Elaine; brothers, Eugene and Harold (Hazel) Klund; and sister, Vivian (Walter) Ferstenou.
