CHRISTOPHERSON, James E., age 58

Died: Monday, February 20th, 2017

James E. Christopherson, age 58, of Eau Claire passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 20, 2017 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

James was born on January 28, 1959 in Mondovi, Wisconsin where he grew up and graduated from Mondovi High School in 1977. He is the son of the late Lyle and Francis (Ilgen) Christopherson. In May of 1987, he married Susan (Myers).

He enjoyed woodworking, cooking (particularly grilling), spending time outdoors, and animals. Being a "jack of all trades", James spent time over the years working in construction, as a factory worker, an automotive tech, and most recently at the Menard's Distribution Center in Eau Claire since 2004.

James will be missed by his daughter, Sierra of Eau Claire; siblings, Ann (Joe) Anderson of Verona, Susan (John) Hoehne of Austin, MN, Roy (Mary Ann) of Eau Claire, Roger (Sharon) of Neillsville and Paul (Wendy) of Maine; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his son, Justen.
