Ann was born on December 19, 1940 to the late John "Jack" L. Kildahl and Dora (Thorson) Rabideaux in Eau Claire. Ann graduated from Eau Claire Memorial High School. From 1957-1960 she worked at the Coop Credit Union where she met John Wagner, the love of her life, and they were married on November 12, 1960. She was a loving wife and mother. In 1984, she began working for Father Klink at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church as church secretary until 2012 when she was diagnosed with cancer.

Together, Ann and John traveled to Ireland, Holland and throughout the United States on many vacations making friends on every trip they took. Ann loved to meet people and share the stories of their lives and children with each other. They also loved traveling the state watching their grandchildren play sports, perform in plays, and dancing in recitals. Ann enjoyed going to the cabin in Spooner and being on the lake with John and their friends at the campground.

Since 1979, she was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church where she volunteered for many different organizations. From 1968-1979, the family belonged to St. Joseph's of Rock Falls where Ann was a CCD teacher and a member of HON (Help Our Neighbor). She also volunteered regularly at the Beacon House and Sojourner House and many other organizations. Before diagnosed with cancer, she would donate blood and plasma regularly. Ann loved to knit, do crossword, garden and travel. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She survived by her husband, John; children, Louise Wagner of Rice Lake, Stephanie Wagner-Ganong, Peter Wagner (Dawn Adams) both of Eau Claire, and Joel Wagner (Kimberly Whisler) of Bolingbrook, IL; grandchildren, Jason Wagner (Olivia Case) of Madison, Samantha Wagner of Boyceville and Clint and Connor Husby of Menomonie, Alexandria Ganong of Baker City, OR and Lindsay Ganong of Bozeman, MT, Nicholas and Quinton Wagner of Eau Claire, Kaitlyn and Madysen Wagner of Bolingbrook, IL; sisters, Barbara (Marlow) Wathke of Fall Creek & Gilbert, AZ and Susan (Roger) Tietz of Chippewa Falls; brother, John Kildahl of Eau Claire; many other family members and friends.
