 Anna Irene Vold, age 87, of Eau Claire, WI, passed away on November 1, 2011 at Dove Healthcare West.
Anna was born on May 9, 1924 to the late Hans and Bertha Vold, in Clear Lake, WI. On October 30, 1943 she married Ralph Vold in Osseo, WI. She loved her church family and was a longtime member of Bethesda Lutheran Brethren Church in Eau Claire. Her warmth and hospitality made everyone feel welcomed in her home. Anna loved cooking and baking for family and friends. She was well known for her homemade cinnamon rolls, doughnuts, bread, lefsa and Norwegian dishes.
Anna is survived by her daughter, Margaret Ann (Richard) Powell of Wausau, WI; sons, Ron (Janet) of Clinton, WI, Gary (Diane) of Fall Creek, Ralph (Debbie) of Cody, WY, Ed (Sue) of Eau Claire, Mike (Jackie) of Eau Claire, and David (Sherry) of New Richmond. WI. She is further survived by 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and brother, Morris Vold of Fergus Falls, MN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph in 1982; brothers: Harold, Ing, and Stanley; sister, Helga Johnson; and two great-grandchildren; Caitlyn Powell and Wyatt Hunt.
