Henry "Hank" Krimpelbein, age 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 4, 2015 at Dove Health Care West in Eau Claire with his wife by his side.

Henry was born on December 19, 1926 to the late Heinrich and Eva (Wagner) Krimpelbein in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Following his service in the U.S. Army during WWII, he returned to Milwaukee to play semi-pro baseball until an injury ended his career. He then started a career in route sales working for various companies, one of which was Peters Meats which transferred him to Eau Claire in April of 1965. On May 16, 1953, he was united in marriage to Delores Caturia.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Delores; daughter-in-law, Jolene Morgan Krimpelbein; grandchildren, Billie Jo and James (Kristi) all of Eau Claire; great grandchildren, Zackary and Zander Rathke and Clara and Anna Krimpelbein; sister-in-law, Eleanor Mattison of Menomonie; special niece, Jackie (Rich) Casper and nephew, Lawrence Mattison; along with other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, William "Bill"; father- and mother-in-law, James and Relia (Manor) Caturia; sisters, Anna Krimpelbein, Kathrine Taylor and Margaret King; and brother, Matthew.

Honoring a life with a meaningful service is an important step in the grief process and is a gift to their family and friends —
a gift of memories and a gift of healing
