Martin A. Trenkle, age 95, of Menomonie died on Monday, December 26, 2011 at Dunn County Health Care Center.

Martin was born on April 14, 1916 to the late Martin and Maude (Nickell) Trenkle in LeRoy, Illinois. He married Anita Blinzinger on September 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri. Martin and his wife lived most of their life in Virginia Beach, moving to Wisconsin in 2001.

He is survived by his daughter, Antoinette (Dennis) Ciesielski of Menomonie; granddaughter, Erica (Daniel) Chaikin of Cypress, Texas; and great grandchildren, Anna and Ethan.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita, and daughter, Janet.
