Funeral Service: 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Hope Lutheran Church (corner of Starr Ave. and Eddy Lane) with Rev. Rick Lund officiating

Visitation: one hour prior to service at church

Interment: Rest Haven Cemetery, Town of Washington, Wisconsin

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Hope Lutheran Church

Elaine A. Klund, age 91, of Eau Claire died on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Dove Healthcare - West.

Elaine was born on September 30, 1923 to the late Arthur and Esther (Hove) Anderson in Colfax, Wisconsin. On June 20, 1945, she married the love of her life, Kenneth Klund, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Bloomer. After working 40 years as a bookkeeper for Presto Industries, Elaine retired in 1985. Elaine was a very active member of Hope Lutheran Church serving on many committees throughout the years and loved being active in music at church singing in the choir and ringing hand bells. She enjoyed golfing, ceramics, baking, and the many camping trips with family and friends. Elaine was a kind and loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend. Her sense of humor, keen wit, and infectious smile will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Kenny; sister, Imogene (John) Reppe of Two Harbors, MN; sister-in-law, Ruth (Merv) Marquardt of Chippewa Falls; many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends.

Elaine was preceded in death by her brothers, Joe Anderson and Peter (Terri) Anderson.
