Interment: at a later date in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery, Spooner, Wisconsin

Donald "Husie" Husebo, age 82, of Eau Claire passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Clairemont Nursing and Rehabilitation.

He was born on January 15, 1930, in Eau Claire, to the late Olin and Pauline (Neff) Husebo. Don proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He has lived in California and Middleton and Waterloo, Wisconsin where he has friends and family. He  moved back to his home town of Eau Claire in 1976. On September 1, 1973, he married Mary Orvold. Don worked in the building industry for most of his years, most recently as a building estimator at Save Rite Building Center in Neillsville.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary; daughter, Stacey Swierenga of Crystal, MN; step-daughters, Deborah (Kelly) Kavanagh of Eau Claire, and Kim Helmer (John Grimmer) of Hudson; grandchildren, Jordan, Mackenzie, Erin, Jazmine, Meghan, and Clay.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Leonard; sisters, Marguerite and Betty.
