Visitation: will be one hour prior to the service

Interment: Oak Grove Cemetery, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota

Milo S. Moe, age 94, of Eau Claire, died on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Care Partners in Eau Claire.

Milo was born on June 3, 1923 to the late Severt and Julie (Olsen) Moe in Hitterdal, Minnesota. On November 27, 1946 he married Beth Katzenberger in Westbury, Minnesota. Milo was devoted to his church, his family and his country. He was a proud veteran of WWII, having served in North Africa and Europe as a medical corpsman. Milo was also a proud Norwegian, having traveled to Norway to meet relatives and become acquainted with his family history. He was civic minded and served as a leader for various civic organizations and, as a retiree, volunteered his time to various causes.

Milo is survived by his wife of 70 years, Beth; children, Doriene (James) Howe of Greeley, CO, Owen (Marti) Moe of Huntsville, AL, and Kathryn (Steve) Sorich of Billings, MT; grandchildren, Thomas (Kristi) Eastman, Jonathan (Christina) Howe, Bennett (Megan) Moe, Edward Moe, Ann (Patrick Hayes) Sorich, and Jennifer Sorich; great grandchildren, Haley and Zakery Eastman, Charis, Milo and Asher Howe, and Lauren and Hannah Moe; other family members and friends.
