Visitation: 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home and also 1 hour prior to the service

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at the funeral home with Reverend Carlton W. Kangas officiating

Interment: Rest Haven Cemetery, Town of Washington

Gloria D. Running, age 78, of Eau Claire passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Dove Healthcare-West surrounded by her loving family.

Gloria was born on December 2, 1932 to the late Alfred and Helen (Huse) Bonnin in Eau Claire. She graduated with the class of  1950 from Eau Claire High School. On December 2, 1950, Gloria married Gerald "Jerry" F. Running at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed golfing and being with her family and friends at the lake. Gloria will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Steve (Barb) Running, Tami (John) Schmitt, Dave (Joyce) Running all of Eau Claire, Terri (Joe) Fischer of Milwaukee; grandchildren, Nicole, Derek, Stuart, Trent, Trevor, Mitch, Katie, Charlie and Tracy; great grandchildren, Abby, Morgan, Connor and Chayce; sisters, Lucy Anderson, Josephine (Ray) Henning, Vicki (Dennis) Sigmund and Anita (Rod) Morissette; brothers, Donald and Doug Bonnin; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Jerry.
