Carole Ann Gruen-Turner, age 56, of Eau Claire passed away peacefully

with pancreatic cancer.

Carole was born in Eau Claire on March 26, 1958 to the late Orvin and
Jeanette (Anderson) Gruen. She graduated from Memorial High School in
1976 and attended UW-Eau Claire. On December 24, 1985 she married Jon

Hospital, Wal-Mart Distribution Center and GSI Commerce/eBay Enterprise.

Carole will be deeply missed by her sons, Joseph Turner (Michelle
Ehrhard) and Evan Turner of Eau Claire; sisters, Sharon (Brian) Meyer of

Jakarta, Robert (Deb) of Green Bay; nephews and nieces, Vincent Meyer of
Eau Claire, Andrea Gruen (Matthew Nelson) of Casco WI, Tyler Gruen of

her best friend, Cathy Houston; pets, Allie, Akita, Harley and Smokey;
and many cousins and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; many aunts and uncles;
and her cousin, Bill Anderson.

Carole's sense of humor was renowned and she brought countless smiles
and abundant laughter to all who knew her. Her greatest joys were
spending time with her family, getting lost on country roads, gardening,
fireworks, animals and creating art. She loved cotton candy, winning at
the casino, collecting old treasures and all that glittered. Carole
brought joy and happiness to all and she will continue to shine brightly
in our hearts.

Honoring a life with a meaningful service is an important step in the grief process and is a gift to their family and friends —
a gift of memories and a gift of healing
