Visitation: family will receive friends 2 hours prior to Mass at church 

Interment: Sacred Heart Cemetery, Eau Claire, Wisconsin

Arnold "Arnie" P. Pichler, age 67, of Eau Claire died on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at Sacred Heart Hospital surrounded by his wife and children.

Arnie was born on February 14, 1948 to the late Adolph S. and Rose K. (Bauer) Pichler in Mondovi. On April 20, 1974, he married the love of his life, Kathleen "Kathy" Wavrunek in Neillsville. During his life he worked at Thorp Financial, Eau Claire Citizens Loan and Durand Federal. Arnie loved to spend time with family, playing cards, fishing, watching the Badgers, Packers, and Brewers and golfing. He was active in Knights of Columbus, St. Olaf Men's Club, and Eau Claire Jaycees.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; daughters, Becky (fiancé Mark Gries) of Wauwatosa and Laura (Dan) Holmes of Eau Claire; brothers, Dennis (Margaret) of Green Bay, Adrian (Barbara) of Durand, Kenneth of Chippewa Falls and Adolph Jr. (Jane) of Rock Falls; sisters, Mercita Pichler of Plum City and Rita (Mike) Hayden of Mondovi; brothers-in-law, Ronald (Claudia) Risler and Duane Webb; sister-in-law, Shirley Pichler; his canine companion, Willy; numerous nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.

Arnie was preceded in death by his son, Tom; sisters, Mary Pichler, Marlene Risler, and Dorothy Webb; and brother, Robert Pichler, Sr..

The family would like to thank the staff at Sacred Heart Hospital, Oakwood Villa Nursing Home, and Dr. Dettbarn for their continuous care and loving service.
