Diana "Tootie" K. Piehl, age 72, of Ladysmith (formerly of Eau Claire) died on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Kinnic Health and Rehabilitation in River Falls.

Diana was born September 3, 1952, to the late Russell and Thelma (Peterson) Fullerton in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Part of her childhood was growing up in Milwaukee, WI during 1959 to 1965 and moving back to Eau Claire, WI with her parents. She married Dan Boos August 1971 in Bloomer, WI and they later divorced in September 1985. Diana married James Piehl on August 6, 1988 in Eau Claire, WI. Diana and her husband Jim moved to Lakeland, Florida in 1992 to 2011 for 18 1/2 years. Exotic birds were a big part of her life. They owned 15 exotic birds at one time in Florida.

While in Florida Tootie loved going to the bird shows, exploring beaches in Florida, flea markets, Busch Gardens, SeaWorld and Universal Studios.Her other enjoyments were fishing, gardening, camping, listening to music, helping with the organization SPCA for animals while living in Florida, and being with her family.

Diana is survived by her husband, James; son, Ryan (Amanda Joy) Boos; step-daughters, Tanya Fredrick and Rachel Kullman; grandchildren, Racquel Krueger, Kory Boos, Caine Hart, Cecil Philson, Patience Ressel, Erik Boos, Elliana Boos; step granddaughter, Parker Smith; many great grandchildren; sisters, Rosemary Richardson, Bonnie Lanza, Phyllis Fullerton, Darlene (Kevin) Karpe, and Arlene (Patrick) Kroll; other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mandy Boos; step-daughter, Kristina Piehl; brothers, Warren and Robert "Bobby" Fullerton; brother-in-Law, Lloyd Richardson; and foster parents, Ben and Pat Enders.
