Gloria Jean (Tenneson) Everson, age 79 of Hixton, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019 at Black River Memorial Hospital in Black River Falls, WI surrounded by family under the care of Hospice.

Gloria was born on September 23, 1939, to Basil and Helen (Nelson) Tenneson of Blair, Wisconsin.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, sewing, knitting, reading, cooking, games, and most of all entertaining any visitor that came to the door. Gloria was extremely proud of her Norwegian Heritage. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a big smile, a kind heart and always made you feel like part of the family. If you wanted to see a "twinkle" in her eye, just ask her about one of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Wally; children, Kathy (Kim) Patterson of Merrillan, Randy Everson of Alma Center, Kari Lynn (Mike) Strong of St Paul, MN, Kristin (Steve) Pfaff of Alma Center and Dan (Wendy) Everson of Hixton; grandchildren: Rodney (Arin), Angie (Logan), Kayla, Shaylee (Joe), Skylar, Matt, Kate, Casey, Larissa, Olivia, Frannie and Sam; great grandchildren, Tucker, Cara, Sierra and Cashton; siblings, Bob (Lorna) Tenneson, Harold Tenneson, Rich (Karen) Tenneson and Rogee (John) Berg, many nieces, nephews and friends.
