Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at St. Olaf Catholic Church with Father Brian Konopa officiating

Interment: Sacred Heart Cemetery at a later date

 

Marilyn C. Anibas, age 79, of Eau Claire, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at her home in Eau Claire.

Marilyn was born on February 6, 1932 to the late William and Linda (Endvick) Tollefson in Stanley, Wisconsin.  On March 29, 1985, she married Bernard Anibas in Eau Claire. She enjoyed fishing, making floral arrangements and wreaths, playing Bingo, and occasionally going to the Casino.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Bernie; sisters, Phyllis Shilts of Eau Claire and Delores Introwitz of Chippewa Falls; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Theresa (Ronald) Becker of St. Paul Park, MN, Marcella Anibas, FSPA, of St. Paul, MN, Lawrence Anibas of Alma Center, and Marlene (Murph) Hallock of Cottage Grove, MN; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald and Claude Tollefson; brothers-in-law, Glenn Shilts and Frenchy Introwitz; sister-in-law, Barb Anibas.
