Robert A. Selvig, age 68, of Eleva passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Sacred Heart Hospital surrounded by family.

Robert was born on November 8, 1943 to the late Lester and Elnora (Meling) Selvig in Marshalltown, Iowa. On November 12, 1966 he married Mary Ann Brown at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Riceville, Iowa. Robert loved spending time with family and enjoying the outdoors fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Ann; daughter, Michelle (Fred) Crockett of Framingham, MA; son, Mark (Diane) Selvig of Eau Claire; grandson, Cole Selvig; sisters, Elaine (Wayne) Smolik of Osage, IA, Eileen (Ewald) Ehlke of St. Ansgar, IA, Dawn (Jim) Lackore of Osage, IA; nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
