Stanley R. Fimreite

Stanley R. Fimreite, age 79, went to his heavenly home on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Dove Health Care West in Eau Claire. 

Stan was born January 26, 1947, to the late Theodore and Olinda (Schultz) Fimreite in Mondovi, Wisconsin. He grew up in the Eleva area, graduated from Eleva/Strum High School and from UW-Stout where he received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. During the Vietnam War, he served our country in the U.S. Airforce. Stan worked for many years with Uniroyal before retiring and enjoyed working on and fixing computers. His love and devotion to family will be remembered by his daughter and those who loved him. 

He is survived by his daughter, Robin Fimreite; stepson, Terry Stalson; former wife, Sandra Fimreite; siblings, Olin (Jan) Fimreite and Evelyn (Harland) Wagner; sister-in-law, Audrey Fimreite; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. 

Stan was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Henry Fimreite and Clifford (Joanne) Fimreite.
