Chris left this life on November 18, 2011. He was born in Stevens Point on March 30, 1966 and was the son of Lester and Mae Voelker.

He attended SPASH and graduated with academic and athletic honors. He was awarded a football scholarship to Northern Michigan University. He later attended UW-Lacrosse. For more than 18 years he was employed at the Kwik Trip headquarters in LaCrosse.

He married Michelle Liudahl and they were later divorced.

Chris was an avid hunter and fisherman and spent many hours photographing nature.

He is survived by his brothers, Gary (Sherrie) Voelker, Ron (Nancy) Voelker, and Bruce (Becky) Voelker and by his sisters Paulette (David) Kitowski and Candi (Scott) Chesbrough. In addition, he is survived by many nieces and nephews. We all miss him greatly.

His parents preceded him in death as well as his niece Katie Voelker.
