Died: Friday, March 27th, 2020

Memorial Gathering: Saturday, July 11, 2020 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Rice Lake, WI (310 Nobel Avenue).

Interment: Lakeview Cemetery, Chetek, Wisconsin

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorials be given in memory of Skip to the charity or organization of the donor's choice.

Severt "Skip" L. Solum, age 61, of Eau Claire, died on Friday, March 27, 2020 at his home.

Skip was born on December 8, 1958 to the late Severt "Boots" and Jerrianne (Schneider) Solum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The family moved to Eau Claire when he was young and graduated from North High School. He had a passion for collecting stamps and coins: loving the search for older coins. Skip was able to put this passion to use the years he worked at the coin shop in Eau Claire. An avid professional wrestling fan, he loved to watch matches with his friends at home.

He is survived by his aunt, Barb (Jack) Zupan of Bruce; uncles, Glenn of Gurnee, Il, Marlin (Rose Mary) and Gale (Cheryl) both of Chetek; many cousins, other family members and friends.

Skip was preceded in death by his parents; uncles, Wayne and Keith; and aunts, Dona and Mary Ann.
