William J. Morissette, age 82, of Eau Claire passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at his home.

William was born on May 17, 1930 to the late Louis and Alma (Heidemann) Morissette in Eau Claire. On December 19, 1950 he married the love of his life Donna-Mae Wiseman at St. John's Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. Bill retired from Pope and Talbot in 1992. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his family and friends and taking Alyssa to the barn to ride Sally. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Donna-Mae; children, Linda (Tim) Dart of Nacogdoches, TX, Rod (Anita) Morissette of Mukwonago, Roxann Morissette (Christopher Matinez) of Elcerrito, CA, Janet Walker of Chippewa Falls; grandchildren, Michelle (Ed), Shannon (Tim), Ryan (Crystal), Cara, Rajna (Jeff), Emily, Michael, Daniel (Emily), Kevin (Tia), Luke, Peter, Alyssa; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great, great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.

William was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard and Robert, and sisters, Joyce and Mary Lou.
