 Dale E. Deardorff, age 92, of Eau Claire, died on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at his home with family and friends by his side. Dale was born June 3, 1932, to the late Irvin and Mable (Hoover) Deardorff in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Following graduation from Durand High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and spent most of his 4 years of service overseas. Upon his return, Dale attended barber school and barbered in the Eau Claire area. He and Darlene Cooper were united in marriage on July 9, 1966 in Wabasha, Minnesota. For ten years he worked at the paper mill before retiring and then went on to help his brother Ron at his barbershop in Altoona. A special thank you to all of Dale's family and friends for their care and support during this difficult time. He is survived by his special friend, Dianne Schmidt; sisters, Lois (Cam) Thomas of Eau Claire, and Joyce (Jim) Andress of Coon Rapids, Minnesota; sisters-in-law, Donna (Jerry) Rubenzer of Chippewa Falls, Diane Weiss of Altoona, and Debra (Mike) Isham of Eau Claire; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. And dear friends and neighbors, John, Betty, Julie, Brenda, Connie, and Steve. Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene; his parents; brother, Ronald Deardorff; and brother-in-law, Ron Cooper. |
