Celebration of Life: 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at the funeral home with Reverend Marvel D. Juve officiating

Interment: a private family interment will be held at a later date

 

Edith L. Krall, age 80, of Eau Claire passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at her home after living with M.S. the past 40 years. 

Edith was born on September 9, 1930 to the late Haven and Lena (Willenreiter) Nelson in Gilmanton, Wisconsin. On July 7, 1950, she was united in marriage to Leonard Krall at Plymouth Congregational Church in Eau Claire.  She was a long time member of Plymouth Congregational Church and Harvestime Church.

Edith loved baking, gardening, sewing and embroidery work. She inspired us all with her positive outlook on life and her graciousness towards others. She will be greatly missed by her beloved family.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Leonard; daughter, Linda (Roland) Anderson of Eau Claire; sons, Randall (Dorothy) Krall of Durand and Anthony (Stephanie) Krall of Eau Claire; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sisters, Delores Orf, Grace (Steve) Govin, Muriel Kolstad, and Alice Lovgren; brother, James Nelson.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael; grandsons, Caleb and Nicholas; and brother, Wallace.
