James Roger Schultz, age 84, of Arcadia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at the Boland/Schultz family cabin in Trempealeau WI. Jim was doing what he enjoyed - spending time with family looking out over the Mississippi River watching the barges go by.

James "Jim" was born in Lacrosse on August 11, 1935 to the late Art and Lydia (Schorbahn) Schultz. After graduating from high school, Jim married Jean Jensen on September 13, 1955 in Arcadia. Together the couple farmed side by side in Glencoe, raising crops and their son, Timothy. He loved his family and was especially proud of his grandchildren.

Jim is survived by his son, Tim (Connie) Schultz of Inver Grove Heights, MN; grandchildren, Mikayla and Evan Schultz; sister, Sharon Schultz of Arcadia; sisters-in-law, Doris Camastral of Eau Claire and Pina Jensen of Virginia; brothers-in-law, Dennis (Donna) Jensen and Neal Jensen both of Arcadia; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; sister, Betty Boland; brothers, Darell Schultz and Gordon Schultz; brother in-law: Morris "Butch" Jensen and niece, Debbie Boland.

Honoring a life with a meaningful service is an important step in the grief process and is a gift to their family and friends —
a gift of memories and a gift of healing
