Joyce Marie (Loeschmann) Mikow, age 82, of Eau Claire (formerly of Milwaukee) died on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Oak Gardens Place in Altoona, WI.

Joyce was born on July 10, 1032 to the to the late Milton & Helen (Seidler) Loeschmann in Milwaukee, WI. On September 6, 1952, she married Robert C. Mikow in Milwaukee. She received her Associate Degree of Nursing in 1968 from the Milwaukee Technical College spending the majority of her career in intensive care nursing. Throughout her life she lived in Milwaukee, Appleton and following retirement, Blueberry Lake in Sawyer County, WI. She had a love of music, reading, and history. Spending time with family up north at the lake were treasured times. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Dan (Laura) Mikow of Cincinnati, OH, Chuck (Pam) Mikow of Eau Claire, WI and Ken Mikow of Neenah, WI; grandchildren, Jon (Vicki) Mikow of St. Louis, MO, Chris (Corrine) Mikow of Kihei, HI, and Beth Mikow of Fairbanks, AK; 3 great granddaughters; brother, Milton (Janet) Loeschmann; nieces, nephews, other relatives and her beloved cat, Buster.

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert; daughter, Kathy; and sister, Janice Last.
