Celebration of Life: 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 25, 2016 at the funeral home

Visitation: 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home

Interment: a private service will be held at a later date

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

Penny R. Kruger, age 62, of Chippewa Falls was embraced in the arms of her loving mother on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Oakwood Villa in Altoona.

Penny now dances in heaven after putting up a strong fight. We are left with the remembrance of her contagious smile, humor, free spirit, and will to stand tall - no matter what.

She is survived by her children, Taylor Goulet (Jenny Ottinger) of Chippewa Falls and Austin Marie Kruger of Eau Claire; grandson, Jax Goulet; sister, Sharon (Steve) Olson of Eau Claire; brothers, Clare Kruger of Chino, CA and Marshall (Bev) Kruger of Chippewa Falls; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and her dog and beloved companion, Sky.

Penny was preceded in death by her parents, Dean and Carol (Kjesbo) Kruger and nephew, Vince Kruger.
