Leslie "Les" E. Berg, age 60, of Eleva died suddenly on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at his home.

Les was born on November 5, 1956 to Everett and Ann Berg in Beloit, Wisconsin. On May 30, 1981, Les married Lori Byington at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Whitehall. Les thoroughly loved his job in computer sales as co-owner of Corporate Technologies. Meeting clients and putting together new deals never ceased to be a thrill. He was able to retire in September, 2016 which opened up more time for his many hobbies.

Traveling was top on that list. When the kids were young, they enjoyed many family trips going to Hawaii, Florida - Disney World, Aspen, and the Dominican Republic to name a few. Later, he and Lori made many trips to Key West. He loved spending time on the North Shore cross country skiing or snowshoeing. Les was an avid movie watcher with a vast DVD collection. He was the man behind the camera with his love of photography and put on many miles riding his bicycle. Les loved sports and was a coach for many years with youth hockey and baseball. He was an avid Packer fan as well.

Forever the jokester, numerous memories and stories could be shared by his family of the many pranks pulled over the years - mostly on his brother, Lane. Les' humor, smile, and loving heart will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lori; son, Andy (Jenni) Berg; granddaughters, Hadley and Ellie; parents, Everett and Ann Berg; mother- and father-in-law, Robert and Carol Byington; brother, Lane (Amy) Berg; sister-in-law, Robin (Robert) Shue; nephews and nieces, Thane Berg and Kayla, Jessica and Jordan Shue; many other relatives and friends.

Les was preceded in death by his daughter, Lindy; grandparents, Edwin and Cora Berg and Ralph and Tina Rasmusson.

Honoring a life with a meaningful service is an important step in the grief process and is a gift to their family and friends —
a gift of memories and a gift of healing
