Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Eau Claire with Father Don Meuret officiating

Visitation: Will be 1 hour prior to the Mass at church.

Interment: St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Rock Falls, Wisconsin

In lieu of flowers, it was Joyce's wish for donations be made to the Humane Association or to a charity of your choice.

Joyce A. Tomashek, age 87, of Eau Claire passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Dove Healthcare-South in Eau Claire.

Joyce was born on October 11, 1929 to the late George and Hazel (Todd) Eul in Chicago, Illinois. On November 11, 1961, she married James "JT" R. Tomashek at St. Sylvester's Church in Chicago. 

She is survived by her nieces, Anita Tomashek, Kathleen Barrett, Eileen (Jim) Mitchell, and Susan Hoover; nephews, Richard and Michael Hoover; other relatives and friends.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, James; brother-in-law, Lewis (Marie) Tomashek; sisters-in-law, Sr. Claire Tomashek, Mary Cermak, and Gertrude (Dick) Barrett.
