On Thursday, March 22, 2018, Jane Marie Boos, age 72, of Eau Claire, one of the gentlest souls on earth, was called to heaven.

Jane was born on February 21, 1946 to the late Gilbert and Katherine (Erpenbach) Boos in Eau Claire. She attended Longview Country School and high school in Elk Mound. She worked in the laundry department at Mt. Washington and after 30 years of service, Jane retired.

Lady Jane rode many miles on her bike, loved to play cards, take the bus to play bingo and work on multiple arts and crafts projects. Among her favorites were latch hooking, embroidery and putting puzzles together. Jane loved watching the Chicago Cubs, and for some reason her siblings could never understand, the Minnesota Vikings.

Jane always lived by her Golden Rules. Everyone who knew her will miss her vim, vigor, and vitality!

She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Larry (Elizabeth) Boos of Amery, Jim Boos of Eau Claire, Ann (Paul) Schwebach of River Falls, Rita (Rodger) Lemler of Colfax, and Allen Boos of Menomonie; a very special cousin, Barb (John) Joyce; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
