Died: Saturday, January 18th, 2014

Celebration of Life: 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Amy Chapel in Elk Mound  (E9882 370th Avenue, 715-874-6815) with Pastor Dale Bussinger officiating

Visitation: 3:00 p.m. until time of service at church on Tuesday

A private family interment will be at a later date

Lincoln Peter Lokrantz "Lonnie", age 71, of Elk Mound went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 18, 2014. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

Lonnie was born on January 31, 1942 to the late Otto and Faye (Cayo) Lokrantz in Chippewa Falls. He married Becky Fritz and later divorced. On December 11, 1982, Lonnie married Barbara J. (McDonald) Soley in Elk Mound. He was the former owner of Little Super Store in Eau Claire. Lonnie was a very active member of Amy Chapel having served as church treasurer among many other roles. He sung tenor for many years with the Chippewa Valley Gospel Choir. He was a kind, gentle man who enjoyed helping others and was an instant friend to all who met him. Lonnie will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Barbara; children, Christopher (Gina) Lokrantz of Menomonie, Douglas (Paula) Lokrantz of St. Petersburg, FL, Joseph (Andrea) Lokrantz of Eau Claire, Linda Brenden of Edgerton, WI, Laura (Thomas) Hayden of Elk Mound, Roxanne (Richard) Tibbits of Milwaukee, Renee (Timothy) Boudreaux of Minneapolis, MN, and Michael Soley of Madison; grandchildren, Katelyn, Amber, Kylie (Robert), Chase, Alex, Parker, Anessa, Lucas, Caity, Brooke (David), Jessica, Seth, Terrick, Latasha, Lataya, Rheanne, Isaiah and Gabriel; great grandson, Aidan; brother, Donald Lokrantz of Beloit, WI; sister-in-law, Sandra Lokrantz of Eau Claire; brother-in-law, Ralph "Dick" Peters; many other family and friends.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his brother, John "Jack" Lokrantz; sister, Jeanne Peters; sister-in-law, Kathy Lokrantz.
