Alyssa Akane Biolo, age 32, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Mayo Clinic Health System - Eau Claire.

Alyssa was born on September 1, 1983 and graduated with honors from Memorial High School and Chippewa Valley Technical College's paralegal program. A fixture at Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethons and singer-songwriter concerts, Alyssa always championed the underdog. An avid reader and writer, she loved the English language. She had a special place in her heart for animals and loved to dote on her puppies.

She is remembered and cherished by her mother, Yuki Kato; father, Mark Biolo; brother, Justin Biolo; sisters, Marisa and Claire Biolo; her "other" sister, Kelly Kato; her faithful dogs, Pocket and Belle; grandfather, William Biolo; along with many other family members and friends.

Alyssa was preceded in death by her grandmother, Barbara Biolo; and grandparents, Tomoko and Kojo Kato.
