Celebration of Life: 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 15, 2013 at Epiphany Lutheran Church (held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church on 601 Fall Street, Eau Claire) with the Pastor Russell Kampfer officiating

Visitation: 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home

Interment: St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Eau Claire, Wisconsin

Kim R. Nelson, age 47, of Eau Claire passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

Kim was born on October 17, 1966 to Marvin and Ruth (Schreiber) Barneson in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. In 1985, she graduated from Eleva - Strum High School and then from the University of Wisconsin-EC with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education. She found a deep love in helping  people and received her Paramedic certificate from CVTC. Kim had a wonderful voice sharing her love of singing for church services, weddings, funerals and special occasions. Her love for life and for those around her will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Ken;parents, Marvin and Ruth;brothers, Greg (Deann) Barneson of Monticello, Iowa and Tom Barneson of Strum; brother-in-law, Mark Nelson of Eau Claire; niece, Samantha (Joshua) Prissel; great nephew, Brycin; many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her close friend, Tara Nyseth.
