Interment: at a later date in Rest Haven Cemetery, Town of Washington, Wisconsin

Phyllis E. Vorce, age 97, of Eau Claire passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Care Partners in Eau Claire.

Phyllis was born on September 16, 1920 in Mondovi; the youngest child of the late Harvey and Frieda (Borgwardt) Nichols. On September 30, 1939, she married Harry Vorce in Eau Claire where they built the family home.

She is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Jerry) Hanson, Jacalyn (Richard) Schuenemann, Audree (Duane) Lokken, and Debra (Bruce) Monroe; grandchildren, Brian (Tanya) Hanson, Wendy (Chris) Hanson Morgan, Larry Rud, Anthony (Kimberly) Lokken, Jennifer Lokken, Jeffrey (Samantha) Lokken, Jason Schuenemann, Andrew Schuenemann and Angela Schuenemann Burns; 9 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; son, Stanley; and all her brothers and sisters.

The family would like to thank the staff at Care Partners and St. Croix Hospice for all the support and care given to our mother.
