Marian B. Anderson, age 80, of Eau Claire died on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at her home.

Marian was born on June 10, 1932 to the late Marvin and Bertha (Larson) Olson on the family farm in Trempealeau County. On June 25, 1949, she married Densil Anderson in Eau Claire.

Family, friends and neighbors is what Marian lived for. Her unconditional love for all who touched her life filled us with warm and happy memories.

Her talents of sewing and knitting she shared with all as well as giggles with girlfriends, relaxing visits with neighbors, nurturing her children and proudly enjoying her great grandchildren. Each grandchild truly feels she was the perfect Grandma!

Marian shared a wonderful close relationship with every one of her seven brothers and sisters. The loving devotion she shared with her husband of 63 years shone through for all to admire. We will miss you every day but we are all so glad you are finally pain free. See you at the big reunion.

She is survived by her husband, Densil; children, Debbie (John) Tenney of Ranch, CO, Dianne (Phil) Schoenbein of Eau Claire, Duane (Deb) of Lily, WI, Karen (Pat) Beaver of Elk Mound, Bryan of Fall Creek; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; sisters, Jeanette Walton of Minneapolis, MN, Alvina Henning of Eau Claire, Genevieve (Ron) Johnson of Osseo; brothers, Willard (Judy) Olson of Eau Claire, Dale (Carol) Olson of Osseo; sister-in-law, Joyce Anderson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Marian was preceded in death by her brothers, Roger and Gordon; brothers-in-law, Howard Walton and Hanley Anderson; brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Elaine Rude.

The family would like to thank Mayo Clinic Health System - Home Hospice, Pharmacy and Home Medical for their excellent care.

Honoring a life with a meaningful service is an important step in the grief process and is a gift to their family and friends —
a gift of memories and a gift of healing
