Randall Garold Moen, 59 years old, died on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire after a well-fought fifteen-year battle with Lymphoma cancer. Randy was a good man, a loved husband, father, brother and friend.

Randy was born to the late Donald and Dorothy (Brantner) Moen on April 15, 1954 in Durand, Wisconsin. He graduated from Memorial High School in 1972. On August 25, 1979, he married Diane Anderson in Rock Falls and they resided at their Rock Creek residence for thirty-four years. He enjoyed his job at First Supply LLC in Eau Claire often seen driving his blue pickup to job sites to measure for cabinets and countertops or to troubleshoot installation issues.

Our memories of Randy include: his love for family; his enjoyment of his 80 acre plot of land where he watched the eagles, deer, and turkeys; moving dirt and snow with his skid steer; and the home he built and lived in until his death. He was often seen driving his red SSR with the top down, enjoying the sunshine and the beautiful countryside stopping to visit with family and friends. He loved to repurpose any and everything and was a very good jack-of-all-trades.

Randy will be dearly missed by his wife of 34 years, Diane; daughters, Melissa and Mallory; and granddaughter, Vanessa. He is also survived by his siblings, Rodney, Robert, Steven (Karen), Deborah (Randy) Patrow, Roger (Jocelyn), Thomas and Richard (Julie) as well as their wonderful families; father-in-law, Harold Anderson; brother-in-law, Dennis (Melanie) Anderson; and sister-in-law, Debra (Scott) Anderson.

Honoring a life with a meaningful service is an important step in the grief process and is a gift to their family and friends —
a gift of memories and a gift of healing
