Roland W. Anderson, age 65, of Eau Claire passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016 at Oakwood Villa in Altoona.

Roland was born on August 15, 1950 to Vern and Deloris (Olson) Anderson in Eau Claire. He graduated from Memorial High School.  On October 2, 1971 he married Linda Krall in Eau Claire. After many years working at various jobs, he went back to school at CVTC to obtain his Associate Degree in electronics and then began working for Cray Research. Roland was a tinkerer, master problem solver, inventor and "Mr. Fix-it" whether it is was your car, computer, electronics or anything mechanical. He loved the opportunity his job gave him to travel the world, spending time on his boat, and being with his family who will miss him greatly.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Aaron (Becky), Justin (Catie), and Kaitlyn Anderson (Eric Wirth); grandchildren, Cody, Sam, Gabrielle, and Abby; mother, Deloris; siblings, Darlene Tomlinson, Romaine (Mary) Anderson, Steve Anderson (Debbie Livingston), Monica (Jeff) Lukasavige; brother-in-law, David Gravunder; good friend, Jana Tollefson; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Roland was preceded in death by his father, Vern; siblings, Donna Gravunder, and Darryl Anderson; brother-in-law, Tom Tomlinson; sister-in-law, Lorrie Anderson.
