Angela M. Lindner, age 74, of Eau Claire joined her heavenly father on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at home.

Angie was born on June 30, 1939 to the late Charles and Josephine (Samens) Meinen in Chippewa Falls. She grew up in Tilden where she attended St. Peter's Catholic grade school and in 1957 graduated from McDonell High School in Chippewa Falls. On September 8, 1962 she married Bernard W. Lindner at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Tilden. After being married, they lived in Eau Claire with Bernie's job then to taking them to live in Green Bay (making her a lifelong, avid Packer fan), Rothschild, and finally settling back in Eau Claire.

Angie worked in Chippewa Falls as a receptionist for the police department and also for NSP. She loved volunteering her time with Sacred Heart Hospital for both the Guild and making caps for newborn babies, Community Table, and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Angie also enjoyed knitting, gardening, and cooking in her free time. Recently taking her family on a "vacation of a lifetime" cruise to the Caribbean was a special time and memory of hers.

She is survived by her children, Tom (Jill) Lindner of Weston, WI and Amy Lindner of Woodbury, MN; grandchildren, Miranda, Lukas, and Beau; sister, Rosemary Schemenauer; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Angie was preceded in death by her husband, Bernie; sisters and brothers, Dolores Bowe, Kenneth Meinen, Father Myron Meinen, Edward Meinen, Joan Whiteside, and Roland Meinen.

Honoring a life with a meaningful service is an important step in the grief process and is a gift to their family and friends —
a gift of memories and a gift of healing
