Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Spirit Lutheran Church in Eau Claire

Visitation: one hour prior to service at church

Interment: Forest Hill Cemetery, Eau Claire, Wisconsin

Mildred "Millie" I. Krause, age 90, of Eau Claire died on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Oak Gardens in Altoona.

Millie was born on August 3, 1926 in Colfax, WI to the late Richard and Johanna (Foss) Krause. She attended Colfax High School prior to her family moving to Eau Claire in 1937 and transferring to Eau Claire High School. Following graduation, she attended Eau Claire Teachers College receiving her bachelor's degree in Education. Millie taught for many years at Sam Davey Elementary School in Eau Claire.

She is survived by her niece, Nancy (John) Logan of Naples, FL; nephew, Billy (Margie) Krause of Eau Claire; great nieces and nephews, Angela Welch, Jennifer (Chad) Shaw, Michelle (Brian) Jarvie-Eggart, Elizabeth Jarvie, Noah Krause, and Nyssa Krause; nephew-in-law, Robert Jarvie; many great, great nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Millie was preceded in death by her brothers, Glenn (June) and Robert Krause; sister, Janet (DeLos) Stoike; niece, Renee Stoike-Jarvie.
