Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Eau Claire with Reverend Steven Rutter officiating.

Visitation: family will receive friends one hour prior to service at church

Interment: Brooklawn Cemetery, Cadott, Wisconsin

Leota Anderson, age 96, of Eau Claire died on Friday, July 31, 2015 at Dove Healthcare West.

Leota was born on September 30, 1918 in Cadott,WI, the daughter of the late Caleb and Blanche (Rose) Munroe. She attended Cadott High School graduating in 1936. On October 15, 1938, she married Victor Anderson in Cornell, WI moving to Eau Claire in 1958. She enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Richard Anderson of Chippewa Falls; daughter, Lynn (Riley) Fouser of Eau Claire; grandsons, Michael (Sue) Anderson of Minneapolis and Scott (Angel) Anderson of Wausau; step-grandson, Scott Fouser of Portland, OR; four great grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Leota was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Victor, in 2007; brother, Robert (Sue) Munroe.

The family extends a special thank you to Reverend Steven Rutter, Dr. Polus, Natalya, and all the staff of Orchard Hills and Dove Healthcare West for the excellent care they provided to their mother.
