Adam "Slim" T. Sherman, age 41, of Chippewa Falls passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at his home after his long battle with alcoholism.

Adam was born on December 13, 1973 to Terry and Karen Sherman in Eau Claire. In 1992, he graduated from North High School and then attended CVTC on a scholarship he received for the Auto Mechanics program. He had a passion for music, especially the bands Grateful Dead and Irie Sol. Adam was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and loved being outdoors either hunting, fishing, trapshooting or snowmobiling. He had a knack for fixing things and repairing automobiles. In 1998, he married Shiloh Wiesen, but they were later divorced. He was looking forward to November when he was to become a grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends who thought of him as a person who could make them laugh and enjoy life's moments with him.

He is survived by his daughter, Samantha; close friend, Melissa Chodera and her son, Sebastian; parents, Terry and Karen of Eau Claire; brother, Nate (Lauren) Sherman; nieces, Audrey and Ellen; uncles, James (Mary) Sherman, Leonard (Sandie) Rubesch, Jr., and John (Bernice) Rubesch; aunts, Laurie Lombard, Shirley (Dave) Kramschuster, and Connie (Bill) Scheu; grandfather, Tom Sherman; many cousins, other relatives, friends, and his cats, Tommy and Jasmine.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ona Sherman and grandparents, Leonard and Delphine Rubesch.
