Celebration of Joyce's Life: 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church (1300 Mansfield Street, Chippewa Falls) with Pastor Paul Oppedahl officiating

Visitation: will be 1/2 hour prior to the service at church

Interment: Prairie View Cemetery, Village of Lake Hallie, Wisconsin

Joyce E. Hestekin, 91, of Chippewa Falls died on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at St. Joseph Hospital in Chippewa Falls.

Joyce was born May 16, 1922 to the late Fred and Ella (Bethke) Radke in Wisconsin Rapids. She enjoyed being a mom and wife. Joyce took pleasure in camping, fishing, ceramics, reading and sitting out on her front porch in the summer time. She was employed as a cook with the Chippewa Falls public schools system for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Dennis) Miller; grandchildren, Thomas Hestekin, Jr., David Miller, Melissa Booher, Randi McVinnie, Michelle Miller, and Amanda Baker; many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, James; son, Thomas J. Hestekin; daughter, Kristi McVinnie; granddaughter, Kimberly Miller; and brother, Fredrick Radke.
