Nadine J. Asher, age 67, of Eau Claire passed away from Bile Duct Cancer on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at her home with all of her kids by her side.

Nadine was born on July 13, 1949 to the late Gerald and Doris (Keenlyne) Andre in Durand, Wisconsin. She graduated from Durand High School and attended the University of WI Stout in Menomonie. Nadine later married Mike Asher in 1968 and raised four children in Mondovi. Together, they founded Asher Enterprises where she worked for 42 years; retiring in 2016. She also worked for the Chippewa Valley Music Festivals for several years. Nadine and Mike later divorced after 31 years of marriage.

She enjoyed crafts, sewing, making jewelry, landscaping, gardening and collecting bells. She enjoyed selling her artwork and crafts at local craft fairs and events. Her heart and soul was spending time with her grandkids. She has 11 biological grandchildren, but she was a mother figure to many and was referred to as "Ma'deen".

Nadine is survived by her children, Tammy (AKA Stevia) Asher, Chad Asher, Shannon Lindquist and Wade (Crystal) Asher; grandchildren, Sade Cook, Jaboidia, LeAndre, and Kleara McIntyre, Lieske and Zayne Lindquist, Paisley Asher, Steele Asher, Aspen Asher, Kasten Asher and Aubree DeWitt. She is also survived by her brothers, Barry (Kim) Andre, Nolan (Sharry) Andre and Kevin Andre; sisters, Cheryl Andre, Camille (Randy) Koivisto, Laurel (Dale) Gruber, along with numerous nieces, nephews and 'adopted' children and grandchildren.

Nadine was preceded in death by her sister, Rochelle Oney; brothers, Brad Andre and Bruce Andre.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of the Mayo Clinic Health System Cancer Center-Eau Claire, Mayo Clinic Home Health and Hospice and Visiting Angels for taking great care of Nadine.
