Joyce E. Belden, age 82, of Eau Claire died on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Mayo Clinic Health System - Eau Claire.

Joyce was born on February 24, 1933 to the late Christ and Sadie (Engum) Lee in Mondovi, Wisconsin. On March 31, 1951, she married the love of her life, Richard "Dick" E. Belden, at Concordia Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. She was a faithful, devoted and active member of Concordia enjoying her work with the ladies guild serving as president several terms. Joyce enjoyed tending her garden, participating in the Lily Club, watching and collecting Humming Birds, painting ceramics, and watching her favorite game shows. She loved having family and friends over to visit and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Joyce is survived by her children, Richard Belden Jr. of Eau Claire, Greg (Marlys) Belden of Fond du Lac, Chris (Gary) Giles of Eau Claire, and Michael Belden of Brooklyn Park, MN; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Lorraine (Gary) Bergh & Judy (Dennis) Owen; brother, Lawrence (Velda) Lee all of Eau Claire; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard "Dick"; son, Charles; grandson, Jason Belden; sister, Mavis (Robert) Maher; brothers, Marvin (Bernice) Lee, Lester Lee, and her twin brother, Jarvin Lee.
