EMENECKER, Warren D., age 64

Died: Friday, March 25th, 2016

Celebration of Warren's Life: 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Christian Assembly in Wausau (400 Grand Avenue)

A private interment will be held at a later date

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred which will be given in memory of Warren

 

Warren David Emenecker, age 64, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016 after a courageous battle with ALS.

Warren was born on November 28, 1951 to the late Ralph and Norma Emenecker. He spent most of his life in the Wausau area. He retired in 2015 after over 30 years at Marathon Electric. Warren loved sports and playing golf, especially with his weekend buddies. He belonged to and volunteered with the Rib Mountain Lions Club.

He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his wit, generous heart and his smile. He spent his last five months at The Classics at Hillcrest Greens Assisted Living Facility in Altoona, WI. The family wishes to thank the staff for their wonderful love and care of him. We also want to thank all those in Wausau who helped Warren and spent time with him.

Warren is survived by his brothers and sisters, Dennis (Sherry) Emenecker of Rockford, IL, LaDon Lyon of Woodbury, MN, Glen (Gloria) Emenecker of Stratford, WI, Mark Emenecker of Phoenix, AZ, Jill (Duane) Neubauer of Eau Claire, and Brian Emenecker of Roscoe, IL; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Dean Lyon and sister-in-law, Dawn Emenecker.
