PICHLER, Ronald P., age 51

Died: Tuesday, September 9th, 2014

Celebration of Life: 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at the funeral home with Reverend Robert Hoekstra officiating

Visitation: family will receive friends from 12:00 (noon) until time of service

A private interment will be held at a later date

 

Ronald Paul Pichler, age 51, of Durand passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

Ron was born on November 9, 1962 to Robert J. and Shirley (Gullickson) Pichler in Durand. He went to Lima Catholic School and Durand High School. He married Rhonda Bergh on June 29, 1991. To this union a son, Ronnie was born. Ron and Rhonda later divorced.

For many years Ron worked on the family farm and also construction with his grandpa, father, uncles, brothers, nephews and cousin. He loved spending time with family, especially his son and nephews, playing or watching football, basketball, NASCAR, playing cards and 4 wheeling in the mud bog. He loved music and knew almost every name and artist of a song. Ron will be deeply missed by his many family members and friends.

Ron is survived by his son, Ronnie, Jr. (Mallory); granddaughter, Jordynn; parents, Robert J. and Shirley Pichler; brothers, Michael (Jane), Robert Jr. (Nancy), and Steve; sister, Julie (Michael) Pettis; nephews, Mark (Kim), Jeff (Cassie), Matt (Brittany Kraft), Colton (Mara Nedland) and Hunter Pichler, and Michael Pettis, Jr.; nieces, Amber (Jeff) Fregine, Jodie (Eric) Pettis, Sara (Dan) Sonsolla, and Kristen Allison; great nephews and nieces, Owen, Olivia, Madelyn, Cameron, Evan, Easton, Willow, Annabelle, and Alexis; many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rose and Adolph Pichler, Sr. and Selma and Otto Gullickson; former wife, Rhonda Pichler; special cousins, Mike and Kurt Hovde and Jimmy Heuer; and sister-in-law, Val Pichler.
