Joyce Y. Vold, age 77, of Osseo, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

Joyce was born on May 4, 1938 to the late Harold and Helen (Hoff) Peterson in Osseo, WI. On May 15, 1954, she married Stanley "Bud" J. Vold in Pigeon Falls, WI. For many years she worked as a CNA at the Osseo Nursing Home and also alongside her husband, Bud, at Midwest Farm Supply and Midwest Rentals. She was a long-time member of Kings Valley Lutheran Church. Joyce was a loving and devoted mother, sister, grandma, and friend. She loved spending time with family and friends. She also loved to travel, especially her trips to Vegas. Joyce loved listening to Bluegrass and Old Country Music and got the best joy listening to her brothers, Eldie and Harry, and grandson, Matt, play the guitar and sing.

She is survived by her son, Scott (Cali) Vold of Osseo; daughter-in-law, Kristi Vold of Osseo; grandchildren, Joel (Emily) McGaver, Ryan (Andrea) McGaver, Sarah (Troy) Goodno, Bethany (Rolando) Morales, Heather, Matthew, Karli, and Jessica Vold; great grandchildren, Nathan, Nicholas and Nolan Morales, Kylie and Alexis Goodno, Caelum Pederson, Parker and Emma McGaver, and Alexander McGaver; brothers, Harry, Jerry (Sue), and Eldie (Velma) Peterson; brother-in-law, Glenn Vold; sister-in-law, Darlene Fischer; other "son", Chuck VanBlaricom; Joyce's "Angel", Ann Shoemaker; special friends, David Ihle, Mark Franklin, and Don Haukness; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relative and wonderful friends.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley "Bud"; daughter, Linda McGaver; son, Larry; brother, Ivan Peterson.

Her family would like to thank the staff of Sacred Heart Hospital for their wonderful care.

Honoring a life with a meaningful service is an important step in the grief process and is a gift to their family and friends —
a gift of memories and a gift of healing
