Memorial Gathering: 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at The Plaza Hotel in Eau Claire (1202 W. Clairemont Avenue) with a time for sharing stories and memories at 5:00 p.m.

A private interment will be held at a later date

LuAnne (Lanphere) Gardner, age 55, passed away peacefully at her home in Eau Claire on Sunday, March, 13, 2016.

LuAnne was born on November 23, 1960 in Eau Claire to Annette and Gary Lanphere. She graduated in 1979 from North High School. On May 8, 1982, she married Fred Gardner. In addition to being the world's best mom, LuAnne was a school bus driver for Student Transit for 21 years. She acted as Vice President of Badger State, Inc. and she later charmed customers and captured the hearts of her coworkers at Northwoods Brew Pub. LuAnne was a passionate outdoorswomen who loved deer hunting and enjoyed spending summers and weekends water skiing or snowmobiling at the cabin with her family.

She is survived by her children, Crystal and Bryant (Kayla) Gardner; granddaughter, Cameron Gardner-Sikora; ex-husband and close friend, Frederick Gardner; mother, Annette Lanphere; sister, Shelly (Ron) Knutson; brother, Harley Lanphere; mother in law; Carole Gardner; sister-in-law, Kathy Kaczmarek; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and great friends. 

Lu Anne was preceded in death by her father, Gary Lanphere.
